Start Time: 5K: 7:00 am; Let Me Play 1 Mile: 8:00 am

Location: NIKETOWN (King Kalakaua Plaza)

Average Weather Conditions: Avg. High: 89; Avg. Low: 74.

Distance: All entrants may choose between a certified 5K (3.1 miles) or Let Me Play 1 Mile distance.

Timing: Timing for the 5k is optional. 5k entrants who would like to receive an official time and be eligible for age group awards must pay an optional $2 timing chip fee. ChampionChip timing chips will be distributed at Packet Pick Up. The Let Me Play 1 Mile is not timed and is encouraged for kids 12 and under and their parents; however, both events are open to runners and walkers of all ability levels. Parents are encouraged to participate in the same event as their children.

Fees & Deadlines: Registration deadline is Tues., Sept. 9. To register visit NIKETOWN Honolulu, (King Kalakaua Plaza, 2080 Kalakaua Avenue, Honolulu, HI), go to active.com (a $3 active.com service fee applies), or mail in your entry form (must be postmarked by Tues., Sept. 9; do not mail after Tues., Sept. 9). If space is available after Tues., Sept. 9, registration will take place at Packet Pickup on September 16th on a first come first served basis beginning at 2 pm.

Cause: 100% of the Entry Fee will be donated to Oahu school Physical Education, play and athletic programs. Each runner may designate which school receives their $15 Entry Fee. All Oahu schools that are 501 (c)(3) are eligible to receive donations.

All 5K and Let Me Play 1 Mile finishers 18 and under receive a Give 100% Finisher Medal on race day. Top three timed 5k male and female finishers will receive $300/$200/$100 NIKETOWN gift certificates. Top three timed 5K male and female finishers in each age group will receive an award. Only 5K entrants with an official timing chip will be eligible for age group awards.
